The explosion occurred in Nizhniy Novgorod chemistry laboratory of "Central wood-chemical research institute" on Thursday.

The press-cutting service of Central Directorate of Emergency Control Ministry reported about that. According to Central Directorate the explosion took place at 14:05 as a result of diethyl ether escape in the laboratory rented by the firm "Sinar". Two employees suffered of the explosion who were hospitalized with different degree burns to Nizhniy Novgorod institute of traumatology and orthopedy.
