In November 1 the process of building the North-Baltic gas pipeline will start.

The first pipeline will have transmission capacity of 27,5 mlrd cubic metres in a year.
The second pipeline is supposed to have transmission capacity of 55 mlrd cubic metres in a year. The government needs investments of 4 mlrd. Euros.

At the conference Golubev discussed the question of pipes supply for this project. Vikunsky factory will give the supply of pipes for the first 144 kms. After that other companies will make contracts about supplies.

Golubev declared that different factories can take part in this program: Russian and Foreign. But most Russian companies will not be able to deliver such a big amount of pipes. In that case it will sound good for the Ukrainian suppliers. It?s possible that most of the pipes will be bought from the Ukrainian and German companies.

The company "Gazprom" intends to buy about 300 thousands tons of pipes from the Ukrainian Harzinsky Pipes Factory.
