Kazakhstan election didn`t meet international standards Kazakhstan election didn`t meet international standards, declared representative of USA Sate department Adam Early. At the same moment he noticed several improvements in election process in republic.

Earlier foreign observers declared that presidential election in Kazakhstan were not democratic. 460 observers from 43 countries worked at presidential election in Kazakhstan. United mission of observers declared about numerous violations of democratic procedures during election. Observers reported about interference in work of election centers, multiple voting and violations during counting of votes. In their opinion, there were "frequent cases of electors` intimidation by authorities" during election campaign, therefore result of election doesn`t reflect the reality. According to tentative data, current president of Kazakhstan Hursultan Nazarbaev collected more than 90% of votes.
