Putin and Lukin discussed protection of human rights in Russia Russian president Vladimir Putin met with plenipotentiary of human rights in Russia Vladimir Lukin.

Lukin informed the president that being on position for a year he managed to trace the dynamics of events regarding human rights` maintenance in Russia and noticed its negative and positive sides.

Positive changes are noticeable in legislation sphere, in situation with migrants and prisons.

Meanwhile, situation with children-orphans gives concern - serious measures and bureaucratization of country are needed to resolve this problem. "There are lots of complaints that bureaucracy doesn`t care about human rights", - he stated.

Lukin promised to give Putin detailed report about situation with human rights in the country.

In the beginning of the meeting Putin and Lukin congratulated each other with International day of human rights, established by UNO in 1950.
