Russan sailors save three Korean fishermen in Sea of Japan Russian motor vessel "Isidor Barakhov" crew saved three North Korean fishermen in the Sea of Japan.
The motor vessel "Isidor Barakhov" assigned to Arctic sea shipping line headed for the port Plastun of Primorie territory from the Republic of North Korea , reported Vladivistok Rescue Coordination Center.
The boat with three fishermen was noticed 25 miles from the coast. The people were waving their hands appealing for help. They were taken on board at 9.17 a.m. Vladivostok time. "At the moment the question of altering the course and calling at Nakhodka port to leave the Korean fishermen to frontier guard is being considered. The consulate general of the Republic of North Korea in Nakhodka is informed about the case", - noted Vladivistok Rescue Coordination Center.
This is the second time when Russian sailors save Korean fishermen during the last month. In the beginning of December five north Korean fishermen were saved by the crew of the motor vessel "Nikolai Przhevalsky" of Far East sea lines.
