Office of Prosecutor of Shatursky district, Moscow oblast, takes institute proceedings on the fact of fire in psychoneurologic hostel, where 7 people died and 12 were injured.
"Shatursky district Office of Prosecutor has taken institute proceedings on part 2, article 167 of the Russian Federation Criminal Code (intended property destruction by means of arson)", informed Moscow oblast Office of Prosecutor press-cutting service. An operational investigative group is working on the scene, the circumstances are being ascertained.
Moscow oblast Prosecutor Sergei Vasiliev is on the site of occurrence. According to the data from the Russian Emergency Ministry, 7 people died, 12 are injured as a result of fire in the psychoneurologic hostel "Dmitrovsky pogost" of Shatursky district, Moscow oblast.
According to provisional data, the source of ignition appeared on the first floor in the garret.
Information about ignition came at 4.02 a.m. Moscow time, at 4.08 a.m. Moscow time the fire brigades appeared on the scene. At 7.30 a.m. the fire was localized.
There were 52 disabled people, 2 members of personnel, most of them were evacuated.
Two-storey building is situated one kilometer to the settlement Korobovo.
