V.Putin not to stay in Kremlin forever The president of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said that he isn`t going to try presidential post in the third time.
"I do not consider my aim in staying in the Kremlin and don?t appreciate showing one face at the first, second and the third channels again and again or sayings of director of Federal Security Council like: "You watch the first three channels", - president of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin answered today on the question about the opportunity of taking up the presidential duties for the third time which was asked in the direct tv and radio broadcast..
"I consider my aim in establishing the conditions of country development for the long period and I want young and expert governors to come", - stressed V. Putin. And that is why there is no need in any changes to the legislation and particularly to the constitution in his words. "I will manage to find myself some job", - V. Putin said.

The matter of probable review of constitution disposition according to which the citizen of Russia cannot pretend the presidential pos more than twice is widely discussed in mass media now. Some of politicians (governors or delegates) speak frankly they do want V. Putin to be the president in the third time. Whereas the president himself told repeatedly he isnt going to try the third time.

What do average Russians think on that matter? According to the august poll of ROMIR Monitoring 60% of Russians want to see Vladimir Putin as the head of the state in 2008. This poll says that every forth of the participants (28%) proposed to change the constitution of Russian federation to allow Vladimir Putin to pretend the presidential post. It is the most popular way of presidential authorities lengthening among Russians aged 18-24 (33%) and participants with primary education or incomplete secondary (36%). 10% of participants proposed changes for Putin to be the head of the state as prime-minister and also to elect him on the post of the head of united state of Russia and Belarus. 12% of questioned people want Putin to be the president of the country but suggested another ways to solve the matter. And merely 31% of participants do not want lengthening of the authorities of president in force, and 9% of questioned people found difficulty in answering the question.
