Putin told about strategic goals in Yakutia Vladimir Putin considers that modernization of education, health protection, and also housing construction are the strategic goals of Yakutia.

"We should use possibilities in these spheres within the frames of national projects more actively", - said president of Russian Federation on meeting about social-economic development of the region.

Putin reminded that doctors and nurses, form-masters in schools will get a rise in wage in the beginning of current year.

"Taking the large territory of Yakutia into consideration, the introduction of distance educational programs and access to Internet are of special significance", - said president.

He appealed to pay more attention to increase of housing construction rate in Yakutia, including mortgage lending, special programs for young families and young experts.

The president emphasized that "efforts of federal center must be supported on local level".

Stable and dynamic development of Yakutia is of decisive importance for Far East federal region and for all Russia.

President emphasized that Yakutia achieved positive results in many spheres during year of 2005.

"The income of consolidated budget increased by 10%, capital investments in railway infrastructure increased by 3 times", - said Putin.

Among positive moments Putin called absence of debts in family allowances and wages to budget workers, in housing subsidies and social security of veterans.
