Russian Federal Agency of Tourism refrains from appeals to put off trips to Turkey Russian Federal Agency of Tourism (Rustourism) doesn?t plan to appeal to Russian people and ask them to refrain from trips to Turkey.

"It is not worthwhile to ask people to put off their trips to Turkey", said Rustourism press-secretary Sergei Sinitsin.

He underlined, that the regions where three death of bird flu were detected were located too far from tourists areas, and it was too early to talk about epidemic.

He explained, that the main places of tourists attraction at the moment are ski resorts.

Russian union of tourism industry press-secretary Irina Tyurina, in her turn, informed, that bird flu outbreak didn?t influence the demand on tours to Turkey.

"No Turkey trips rejection have been registered", said Tyurina on Sunday, having added, that there is burst of demand of ski resorts tours to Turkey.

Earlier, Russian chief sanitary inspector Gennady Onischenko recommended Russian tourists to refrain from trips to Turkey, where three people died of bird flu.
