Over 150 tons of drugs were withdrawn in 2005 in Russia by law machinery, informed the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration official.

"With joint efforts of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Federal Security Service, Drug Enforcement Administration, Frontier Guard Service and Custom Service over 150 tons of drugs and psychotropic substances were withdrawn in 2005 in Russia", noted he.

"In 2005 Russian law machinery suppressed 15 organized criminal group activity, connected with drug traffic. About 2,5 thousand oа drug dens were liquidated during the year", said the official.
