The price of Russian gas may vary depending on the changes on oil market, said on Sunday the head of Gasprom Aleksei Miller.

"No doubt, in accordance with market principals in the collaboration between us and Ukraine, the price of gas may grow up or down", explained Miller.

The head of Gasprom reminded, that at the moment реу price of gas delivered to Ukraine constitutes $230/a thousand cubic meters. "Prices at the gas market directly depend on oil products prices, and if the price of oil and oil products grows up, consequently the price of gas grows up too,"- he said, and added that "the market will put everything on its place".

According Miller?s words, Gasprom turns to market principals of work with all former Soviet Republics, importing Russian gas. "From now, only the market, the European market establishes prices of gas, and the market makes all of us equal", said the head of Gasprom.
