The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law on introducing changes into the criminal rule of Ukraine, according to which for " Financing separatism " provides for criminal liability, informs referring to the press service of the President.

The law establishes criminal liability for Financing of actions committed to violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, changes of borders of the territory or of the state border of Ukraine.

for example, Financing of acts performed in order to change the borders of the territory or of the state border of Ukraine in violation of the order established by the Constitution of Ukraine, shall be punishable by imprisonment for a period from three to five years with right deprivation to occupy certain posts for the term of up to 2 years or with confiscation of property.

Financing of actions committed to violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power, shall be punished with imprisonment for the term from five to seven years with right deprivation to occupy certain posts for the term of up to 2 years or with confiscation of property.
