3 Russian tourists from St. Petersburg were attacked in Thailand capital on night of January 26.

As information and press department of Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs announced, an armed assault took place on Khao-San street - the main tourist zone of Thailand capital.

Criminals knifed Russians for several times. 2 tourists were hospitalized in severe state.

"Diplomatic note with request of thorough investigation of the incident was sent to Thai Ministry of Interior Affairs", - was said in Russian Ministry of Interior Affairs.

Diplomats of Russian Embassy in Bangkok render necessary assistance to victims of the assault.
