The Russian Federation Government is to correct Road Rules, which has come into force since January 1, Premier Minister Mikhail Fradkov said to journalists.

"This is an important question. We are finishing the work on it. I have charged to correct introduced errors", said Fradkov in reply to a question about the deputy request about temporary interruption of the new Rules force.

The changes require, in particular, all cars light turning signals to be yellow, while cars made in Japan and the USA have red lights. Besides, special chairs are required for children under 12 transportation.

"As for special chairs for children, there is likely to be the opportunity to buy and order them during the whole 2006", said Fradkov.

"As far as light signals are concerned, this requirement is likely to be applied to the cars bought after January 1, 2007" informed Prime Minister.

Such changes in the Road Rules are rightful, but the time given for their realization is too limited, underlined Fradkov. According to his words, Ministry of Internal Affairs and Government apparatus are finishing their work on correction the points of the Rules mentioned above.
