Russian park of ambulance cars consists of cars, service life of 70% of which has expired long ago. This information has been revealed by the Head of Ministry of Health protection and Social development Mikhail Zurabov.

According to him 65-68 ambulance cars in Russia, by the highest standards, are unfit still used for emergency calls.

The minister believes in realization of national project "Health Protection", in the framework of which the share of operable cars is planned to be raised to 70% and more.

On his opinion, car park renewal will allow to improve the figures of ambulance arrival to the place of emergency for 15-18%
