Canadian authorities decided to use an additional penalty for a number of Russian firms in consequence of the situation in Ukraine. About the introduction of a fresh financial constraints told the Prime Minister himself powers Stephen Harper. According to him, the new punishment affect a wide range of companies pertaining to the Russian military-industrial complex, and more money and energy sectors".

It is noteworthy that the canadian authorities have provided an extensive list of domestic firms that fall under the latest financial limitation. In the list are 10 companies and banks: "Vnesheconombank", "Gazprombank", NPO of machine building enterprise "Bazalt", the concern "Almaz-Antey"concern "Kalashnikov", instrument design Bureau, JSC "NOVATEK", the concern of the radio-electronic technology KRET, firm "Constellation".
