In July 2014 company "Saint-Gobain" sums up results of work of industrial complex for production of plasterboard under the brand GYPROC. The launch of the plant near the village of Kosovo Pavlovsky district was recognized investment project 2013 in the field of manufacture of building materials, and "Saint-Gobain" received the title of investor of the year in Nizhny Novgorod region.

10 July 2013 Vladimir Ivanov, Vice-Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region and Pierre-Andre de Chalendar, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company "Saint-Gobain" has carried out the Grand opening of the enterprise for production of plasterboard GYPROC (Drywall). In a video address to the participants of the opening ceremony, the Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Valeriy Shantsev noted that the construction of the plant and quarry GYPROC (Drywall) has become an important part of the target program modernization of mono-city-Pavlovo and the turning point of economic growth of the whole region and oblast.

In the development and construction of industrial complex, consisting of a gypsum quarry and the plant with adjacent industrial areas, they have invested more than 3 billion roubles. Zaplanirovany capacity of the plant is 30 million m2/year. The plant has created more than 100 new jobs mainly for residents of Pavlovsky district, Nizhny Novgorod region.

For this short period for such a young company was able to successfully go through a multi-national ecological audit EcoStandard and receive a certificate CARE 4: the building of the factory GYPROC (Drywall) - the first in Russia, the building of the plant "Saint-Gobain" high energy efficiency.

The plant carries out a constant monitoring of quality control of manufactured products. Daily 189 tests in the laboratory of the plant, 690 measurements of quality on the production line, 15 parameters of manufactured products are monitored continuously. The company is organized according to the principles of the program of World Class Manufacturing "Production of world level", which provides for continuous work on the further improvement of all parameters of work of the enterprise with the personal participation of each employee.

"The plant in Kosovo can be proud of the high quality production, which complies with European and domestic standards, - said Director of Business unit GYPROC Nikolai Troitsky. - In the very beginning of the project we saw the concern of our partners, they are worried that with the opening of local production, the quality of the materials may decrease, as it happens sometimes with products of foreign companies localizing production in Russia. But since the release of the first batch of plasterboard GYPROC with the Russian pipeline we received only positive feedback about the quality of products - from both distributors and by professional builders. Thanks to high standards of production organization "Saint-Gobain", we are developing according to the planned long-term strategy".

The company "Saint-Gobain" from the beginning of realization Gusovskogo project aims to promote sustainable development in the project area. Thus, since 2008, "Saint-Gobain" has financed various social projects, such as the gasification of the houses in the village of Kosovo, with building materials for the restoration of a school in Ababkovo convent, sponsorship Pavlovsky children's home, aid to victims of fires in the summer of 2010, planting new forests to replace burned-out in several districts of the Nizhny Novgorod region, and more. Currently, the funds allocated by the company, is the repair of the road between the quarry and the factory, including the bridge over the river Kisma.
