Body of Russian man from schooner "Zeny-maru" found in shore of Japan Corpse of one of the crew members of fishing schooner is found near the North coast of the Japanese island of Hokkaido, sunk in the Tatarskiy Strait almost month ago.

As they reported on Saturday in the sea rescue center "South Sakhalin" the Japanese side informed on Thursday that on 6 February the colleagues of police station raised from the sea surface unknown corpse drifted in the region of port Wakkanai.

"To all appearance, the perished man was in the stuff of fishing schooner "Zeny-maru", which wrecked near the western coast of Sakhalin on 17 January. For all this time the corpse, carrying away by sea currents, covered the distance of 180 miles" said the source.

During the inspection of the outfitting of the perished, on the hydro-thermal suit was found number N4, under which in the ship role was registered the second captain assistant Yuri Krasutskiy. However, this altogether is only assumption, since the body of the perished continues to remain in Japan, and the process of identification by relatives and by familiar was not conducted, reported the source.

The distress signal from the fishing schooner "Zeny-maru" which had the flag of state Belize, came in the morning on 17 January. Under the conditions of full gale it overturned and sank in the Tatarskiy Strait - approximately 30 miles west of Sakhalin. At the moment of wreck on board there were 12 crew members.

It was possible to rescue on to inflatable raft only for the sailor Andrey Sashko who was noticed during the day of tragedy thanks to the flash of hand flare and was raised onboard the trawler "Asanda". It was possible to find the bodies of eight perished fishermen to the evening in the sea, other three people were missing, the representative of rescue center noted.
