The Kyiv authorities have decided to rewrite the history books for high school students. The Ministry of education of Ukraine wants to remove from the Ukrainian school textbooks, the term "Great Patriotic war".

The Ministry of education of Ukraine planned reform of school textbooks, according to which the pupils of 10-11 classes will never see the books on the history of the term "Great Patriotic war". This title, Kyiv will change the combination of the words "Second world war". Also in the latest textbooks will add more thorough description of the activity of the Ukrainian insurgent army (UPA), Ukrainian dissidents, and even deportation from Crimea Crimean Tatars, Armenians and Greeks.
