The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Thursday rejected a draft law that deprived the deputies of the previous convocation right again to take part in the elections to the Ukrainian Parliament.

This draft law was supported by only 126 deputies at the required minimum of 226. The bill was proposed to adjust the current law on elections of people's deputies. And among them to ban elected by the Ukrainians, who were already the people's the people's elected representatives.

according to the comments of the authors of the bill, the proposed changes were obliged to allow to update the composition of the Ukrainian Parliament, which, for its part, would give the opportunity to spend the lustration of power and to stabilize the situation in the country.

The lustration of power - one of the main requirements of Maidan activists in February 2014 formulated criteria for the selection of members of the " government of the people's trust ", according to which a potential candidate is not obliged to enter into the list of the hundred obespecheniya Ukrainian citizens are not obliged to take a leadership position in the Executive branch, to be an employee of the administration under Yanukovych and to be involved in human rights violations and corruption.

Applicants must have experience of working in senior positions at least 5 years and have experience working in government for More than seven years, with the exception of the Ministry of internal Affairs, security service of Ukraine, the Ministry of defence. Along with this legislation of Ukraine does not provide the lustration procedure. The Verkhovna Rada registered a few draft law on lustration, but none of them was never voted.
