6 cases of inauthentic declaration of flowers on the eve of international women`s day were revealed by custom officials of Primorie.

By information of Far East custom-house press-secretary, the flowers were imported to Primorie from China. Total weight of undeclared flowers exceeds 5 tons.

"Officials of Ussuriisk custom-house detained 50 boxes with roses, 56 boxes with carnations and 5 boxes with orchids. The owner of flowers wished to keep them and entered goods. As a result over 900 thousand rubles of unpaid custom duties are returned to state".

Flower production was detained within the frames of traditional operation "Giazint". The operation is regularly held before holidays connected with active flower sales. Comparing with analogous period of last year volumes of flower supplies from China increased by 4 times, sums of custom payments - by 5 times.
