The fire occurred at the plant for the production of the polymers, utilized in the electronics industry in Vladikavkaz, reported the Russian Emergency Ministry in north Osetia on Tuesday.

At present the flame continues to spread, the fire captured riggers around the unfinished production buildings of the plant. Three fire brigades are fighting with the fire, there are no threats for people`s life and healt, noted the official.

The cause of the fire is unknown. The Russian Emergency Ministry official noted that the area of the fire is "rather large".
