Helicopter Mi-8 of second Archangelsk united air group crashed in Nenetski autonomous district.

As Federal Aeronavigation Service reported, the catastrophe took place at 11:15 by Moscow time near Varandei settlement. As a result of crash 1 person died and 8 people got traumas. By various information there were from 16 to 22 passengers on board.

The helicopter is owned by one of energetic companies and flew from Naryan-Mara to Varandei. As a result of crash the vehicle was seriously damaged but didn`t catch the fire. The causes of crash have not been established yet.
