General Leonid Ivashov, who witnessed in Milosevic trial on side of defense, regards the death of Slobodan Milosevic as a "political murder".

"I consider that it was a contract political murder because court was unable to prove guilt of Milosevic and non-guilty verdict meant denunciation of NATO`s aggression against Yugoslavia", - announced vice-president of Academy of Geopolitical Problems Ivashov.

Recently Ivashov headed Central administration for international military cooperation of Russian Defense Ministry.

"It is a murder. Doctors, Slobodan Milosevic trusted to, were not let to him. Moreover, Milosevic was refused in treatment in Russia despite his requests. Milosevic was lead to death on purpose", - said Ivashov.
