Chechen ex-premier Sergey Abramov transferred authorities of republican political executive to Ramzan Kadyrov appointed on this position.

Ceremony of assumption of premier office by Ramzan Kadyrov and Sergey Abramov seeing-off took place in Gudermes town on Saturday.

Ministers and heads of republican departments thanked Abramov for work in Chechnya. Minister of Finance Eli Isaev said: "The day is devoted to Sergey Abramov, who headed Chechen government in most complicated period. Abramov is the first man, who declared that Chechen republic should not be reconstructed but built and developed".

Sergey Abramov thanked all attendants in response.

"I am grateful for your support. I understood meaning of term "friendship" and value of "man word" working here. I consider myself the Chechen citizen and member of the crew, though I left post of premier-minister. This gives me right to visit Chechen republic at any time", - said ex-premier.

Abramov emphasized that Ramzan Kadyrov is a talented leader of the team.

Famous artists performed in ceremony. When Chechen singer started the song, Sergey Abramov danced lezghinka. As a token of support Ramzan Kadyrov fired a burst and threw wad under Abramov`s feet - an old Chechen tradition signifying special respect and worship of the dancer.
