The head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law On the reform of the management system GTS, reports referring to the letter of the Verkhovna Rada.

The law " On introduction of changes to certain laws of Ukraine On governance reform of the uniform of the Ukrainian GTS has a gas transmission system and storage underground gas owned by the state, however, allows to transfer them to a specially created companies.

The government plans to make two organizations serving the UGS and the GTS, with the assistance of American and European partners.

A law allowing the government to make the operator of the gas transportation system (GTS) of the country in which up to 49% will be able to get investors from the US and the EU, the Ukrainian Parliament on August 14.

The operator will be entitled to management and/or concession or lease " main gas pipelines and underground storage facilities. The law allows the government of Ukraine to make a separate operator's underground gas storage facilities, in which American and European investors will also be able to get up to 49%. The document was subject to normal approval of the shareholders of the operator GTS specifically by the Verkhovna Rada.
