The government has increased the minimum subsistence level In connection with the increase in the price of some goods, the government has decided to increase the subsistence minimum. Now this amount is 8192 ruble per capita which is 6.6% more than it was last quarter.

In the first quarter of 2014 subsistence minimum per capita was at 7688 rubles. At this time, started rising food prices. With all of this price increase is equal to approximately 6.2%, however, the subsistence minimum increased by 6.6%.

"Set the value of the subsistence minimum in the Russian Federation for the 2nd quarter of 2014, per head of population - 8192 ruble, for the working-age population - 8834 ruble, the elderly - 6717 rubles, children - 7920 rubles", - quotes RIA Novosti text document, confirmed by the government. Help it is noted that similar measures are associated with rising prices of food products that are part of the subsistence minimum per capita, by 6.2%.

It is emphasized that, according to Rosstat data, the index of consumer prices for the 2nd quarter of 2014 was 102,7%. Measures to increase the subsistence minimum are included in the complex of actions aimed at increasing the social protection of people of Russia.

With all of this, every native must have the same access to social safeguards. According to the Russian legislation, the subsistence minimum is of itself valuation basket, including small sets of food products non-food products and services needed to preserve the health and welfare of his life, and even essential duties and taxes.
