Scientists have uncovered a twenty year old mystery of quasars Astrophysics from the United States and China announced that they managed to discover the secret of quasars that bothered scientific workers for the past 20 years. The results of own research, the authors published in the journal Nature, and briefly they can be found on the website of the Carnegie Institution for science.

The experts were interested in the preconditions on which the number of quasars with similar quality, combined in the so-called "main sequence".

Scientists were able to link the study of quasars from the Ground with 2 key factors. 1st concern the intensity of accretion (the fall of matter close to the Central body) in the quasar, and 2 associated with the hallmarks of the orientation in space of the astrologers that create studies on the nuclei of galaxies.

The study of scientific workers opens up fresh powers for understanding how black holes are gaining weight and interact with the environment, and can contribute to the understanding of the role that physical objects play in galaxies and the Universe.

Quasars constitute an active galactic nuclei. As they say, them remains a supermassive black hole, which in consequence of the accretion pulls on the matter from the surrounding space. That leads to a huge mass of holes and radiation in excess of the power of radiation of all stars in the milky Way and surrounding galaxies. The specifics of such objects is variable nature of the radiation from them.
