Berlin decided to Express support for the EU mission to Ukraine 20 police
The German government has decided to send to Ukraine to 20 law enforcement officers to participate in the civic mission of the European Union, said German Federal government Commissioner Christiane Wirtz.

Some law enforcement officials are already in place, the rest of their colleagues will fly from Germany to Ukraine until the end of September. For its part, the press Secretary of the foreign Ministry of Germany Martin Schaefer said that the mission is called to take part in the consultation on the reform of the civil security sector in Ukraine. The conclusion about the formation of such a mission was taken on July 22, the conference of the European Union. First it was announced that the EU mission to train Ukrainian police organization with headquarters in Kiev will run for a period of two years. The EU commissioners will consult with Ukraine in developing a new security strategy and the reform of the law enforcement sector, coordinating with the OSCE and other partners. The EU on 22 July has allocated nearly 2, 7 million euros for four months to the launch phase of the mission. We emphasize that on 23 August, German Chancellor Angela Merkel promised Kiev five hundred million euros for the restoration of the Donbass.
