Kuchma hopes that the meeting will progress
Ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma, representing the Ukrainian side at the meeting of the contact group in Minsk hopes that the third meeting, which begins on the last working day of the week will progress.

" We are gathered here to do the 1st point (the armistice agreement - amended) and to achieve at least some of the ceasefire, " said Kuchma.

He added that " We must achieve to move forward so that We were not in place.

Kuchma added that it is necessary to achieve a more real presence of authorized OSCE Ukrainian-Russian border.

" We will put pressure on the OSCE to make a real presence (observers as amended) ".

Kyiv authorities in April began in the East of Ukraine military operation against dissatisfied with the February coup d'etat in the region. According to the UN on September eleven, the victims of the conflict was almost 3, 2 thousands of civilians, more than 8 thousand were injured body. After the second meeting of the contact group on the settlement of the fall in Ukraine Kyiv authorities and militias Donbass came to an agreement on the ceasefire, which came into force on 5 September. Military and militia periodically report violations of the ceasefire, both sides, however, and international observers have concluded that the truce is generally followed.
