Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading the draft law on anti-corruption Bureau
The Parliament of Ukraine at the extraordinary meeting on Tuesday adopted in the first reading the draft law, which predusmatrivaet the development of a new state body, the anti-corruption Bureau.

for the document voted 278 deputies at the required minimum of 226. In the 2nd reading of the draft law has the opportunity to be considered on October 14.

" The mission of the national Bureau proposed to clarify combating criminal corruption offences committed by officials who are dangerous to state security ", - reported in the document.

it is expected that the Bureau will carry out operational-raising events, pre-trial investigation, verification of integrity, the search for funds and property for future confiscation. Persons who will be in the field of view of the anti-corruption Bureau, the highest officials of the country, for example, the leader, Cabinet members, judges, people's deputies, as well as elected officials and local levels.

Guarantee the independence of this body will be assigned a certain status, a transparent tender procedure for the appointment of a Director, a special order of payment and logistics created body. Legally, candidates for the position of Director of the national anti-corruption Bureau will consider the Commission, consisting of 9 people (from the Verkhovna Rada, Cabinet of Ministers and the presidential administration). The Director of the new authority will be appointed for 7 years and re-elected will not have the opportunity.

the Bureau will be composed of up to 700 employees. The draft law provides strict oversight. For example, it is planned to test employees on the polygraph (lie-detector - ed) when appointment to the position.

The head of state and government addressed the Parliament with a request to hold an extraordinary meeting and again to consider the anti-corruption package of draft laws.
