Due to the abolition of the EU customs duties for Ukrainian subjects, the volume of Ukrainian export products to European countries increased by 23%, said the head of the EC delegation to Ukraine Jan Tombinski.
" We are seeing what this gave the effect was the growth of Ukrainian subjects in the EU by 23% in comparison with the year 2013, " Tombinski said on Thursday, speaking at the meeting of the Ukrainian-Lithuanian and Lithuanian-Ukrainian business councils in Kyiv, reports RIA " Novosti ". European MPs on Thursday voted for a draft regulation of the European Union, extending for one year, until 31 December 2015 action of the Autonomous trade measures against Ukraine. Remember, the European Union from spring to November 1, imposed unilateral trade preferences for Ukraine, eliminating or reducing customs duties on most industrial and agricultural products of this state. Let us add that the Russian Federation said about the intention to introduce Protective measures if Ukraine starts to apply economic articles of the Treaty of Union with the EU concerning the establishment of a free trade zone, formerly a specified time period (1 January 2016). Protective measures in the 1st and foremost duty to supply items from Ukraine to the Russian Federation, will be introduced within 10 days after receiving information about the implementation of the trade part of the agreement.
