One of the first initiatives of the Pro-presidential party " Block Petro Poroshenko in the new Parliament will draft law on changing the electoral system in the Parliament, said at a press conference the head of the election headquarters of the party Vitaliy Kovalchuk.

" One of the first projects of laws that would apply to " Block Petro Poroshenko already in the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation, it will be the law on the elections under the proportional electoral system and open party lists, " he said.

Parliamentary elections took place in Ukraine on Sunday. They were held under a mixed electoral system: half of the members were elected on party lists, fifty percent in single-member constituencies.
