The EC has transferred Ukraine monetary assistance in the amount of 260 million euros
The European Commission has translated Ukraine 260 million euros in the framework of existing programmes macro-financial assistance to the country, according to the EC treatment.
" This amount supplements of 600 million euros, which were transferred in may of the current year within 2 current macro-financial assistance programs of the European Union. After today's payments remain 750 million euros available to Ukraine for two current programs, " the statement, which is quoted by RIA " Novosti ". The EC commented that the purpose of the program is " economic and financial support to the country in a difficult period at present, the economy of Ukraine." The aim is also to stimulate structural reforms that will improve governance, enhance the sustainability of economic improvement and will help harmonize its law with EU legislation at a critical stage of development, according to the request of the European Commission.
