The Central Bank of the Russian Federation from November 26 ceased activity on the area of the Crimea and Sevastopol separate structural divisions of three Ukrainian credit institutions - " Golden gate ", " NEOs Bank " and " credit Agricole Bank ", according to the report of the controller.

conclusion on stopping the activities of the departments of the Ukrainian credit institutions is dictated only by the tasks of protection of interests of depositors and customers, legal rights have been violated, and among them due to the actual stop of the operation of these branches of credit institutions in the Crimea and Sevastopol, as well as lack of prospects for the resumption of their activities, said the Central Bank.

The compensation activities will produce the Crimean Fund for the protection of depositors to whom the rights and requirements on deposits. Civil requirements for these banks, as well as among them from the Fund, in appropriate cases will be considered by the competent judicial authorities in the normal manner, stresses the regulator.

Ukrainian banks began to withdraw from the Crimea after joining the Peninsula to Russia in March 2014.
