The volume of gas in underground storage of Ukraine on 22 December was 12, 086 billion cubic meters, down for days at 0, 45%, inform the data on the Internet representation of the Association of European operators of the underground gas storages (GSE).

according to the information of the GSE, the level of storage has decreased to 37, 83% with 38% on 21 December, when in Ukrainian underground storage facilities was 12, 141 billion cubic meters of gas.

Association on Tuesday said gas into underground storages of Ukraine on 21 December. First it was reported that on this date in UGS was 12, 136 billion cubic meters of gas, and the filling level was 37, 99%.

Ukraine 20 October started off gas from the storage facilities in connection with the beginning of the heating season. Supplies of Russian gas, discontinued since mid-June because of the billions of dollars of debt Kiev resumed on 9 December, after receiving Gazprom prepaid for 1 billion cubic meters.

The head of the Ministry of energy of the Russian Federation Alexander Novak noted that for the normal passage of winter and ensure uninterrupted transit to the European Union Naftogaz need to buy about 3 billion cubic meters of gas from Russia.
