The Parliament of Ukraine adopted the law, which predusmatrivaet significant expansion of the powers of the Council of national security and defence (NSDC) of Ukraine in part of the surveillance and coordination of security forces and government agencies in the battle against the illegal activities of officials.
Such a decision at the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada supported 253 parliamentarians when the required minimum of 226 votes, RIA " Novosti ". Legislation is proposed to make wider competence of the NSDC of Ukraine with respect to such authority, as the decision on urgent measures for the resolution of crisis situations that threaten state security of Ukraine
