The unified state exam has repeatedly criticized by adherents of education specifically for the presence in the structure of the examination test part. Tasks in which the response must choose from a number of already listed, may not fairly reflect the students ' knowledge.

The Ministry of education and science of Russia agreed with the fact that the tests need to reduce, or even completely eliminate from the State. So, part "A" no longer exists in the exam in literature, arithmetic and Russian language. For the remaining subjects, the number of such jobs is reduced.

The Minister reminded that the exam is not only the entrance exam at the University, but graduation for secondary schools, in connection with which his surrender is essential for each student. Unified state exam in mathematics and Russian language are required for the certificate of completion of the Russian school. With 2020 in the number of essential items for graduates in addition it is planned to use a foreign language. Together with this, on the "Forum actions" organized by the all-Russia people's front, a suggestion was made to abandon the mandatory exam for graduates of secondary schools, thus leaving exam only for those who wish to enter higher educational institution.
