Yatsenyuk has submitted to the Parliament a draft law on the establishment of a military brigade, together with Lithuania and Poland
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk has contributed to the Verkhovna Rada a draft law on ratification of the Treaty with Lithuania and Poland on the establishment of mutual military brigade.
The document published on the Internet office of the Ukrainian Parliament. Recall, in September of last year Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania signed an agreement on the establishment of a tripartite Lithuanian-Polish-Ukrainian military brigade Lipolyse " (LitPolUkrBrig). A joint team will be used in operations under the auspices of the UN and the EU. Among the main tasks of the new military units - participation in international efforts to maintain peace, the strengthening of military cooperation and the development of the foundations for the formation of combat groups of the European Union. Work on trilateral project began in November 2009, when the Ministers of defence of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine signed a Document outlining the desire to share a tripartite military unit.
