Thai Airways will no longer fly to Moscow Airline Thai Airways International announced the termination of flights on the route Bangkok - Moscow from 29 March 2015. Passengers who have purchased tickets for flights after March 28 will be fully refunded in cash or suggested other options for returning to Moscow before the specified date.

Despite strong interest in Southeast Asia from domestic travelers, the airline decided to stop the activities on the ground in Russia to improve the financial situation in the country and getting a stable demand for flights, explains in a press release received by the management edition Days.Ru.

President of Thai Airways Charamporn of Jotikasthira disappointed by the closure of the representative office in Moscow. "Despite the fact that Russia is located on the 3rd place in terms of tourist arrivals in Thailand, the airline is not able to compete with Charter flights," he admitted. State-owned carrier also ends up flying to Johannesburg and Madrid.

Thai Airways is a world famous brand, founded in 1960. The airline owns the 88 modern Airbus and Boeing types.
