Foreign Ministry: Russia could not seek the return of the gold of the Scythians in the Crimea without trial
Russia could not seek the return of the collection of Scythian gold in the Crimea in court, said the official representative of the Russian foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich.

"Unfortunately, I must admit that, despite the efforts of the Crimean museums, to return the collection of extrajudicial failed," said the Russian diplomat.

The collection of Scythian gold, more than 1,000 artifacts, was removed from the Crimean museums on Exhibition "Crimea: the gold and the secrets of the Black sea" in the archaeological Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam in early February 2014, even before the Crimea reunited With Russia.
