Scientists first made x-rays of bacteria Through powerful laser scientists manufactured the first x-ray images of living cyanobacteria. In a special laboratory was able to make about 100 shots bacteria, which are then combined into a single photo of high resolution.

Researchers at the National accelerator laboratory SLAC using strong laser could make x-ray images of living cyanobacteria. First, the cyanobacteria were subjected to the processing of a particular drug, and then subjected to the action of strong x-rays.

In consequence of the study was to arrange about 100 x-ray images cyanobacteria per second that on the PC cooperated in the photo high resolution. After that, scientists hope to make three-dimensional images of microscopic organisms. Photos should be so high-resolution that all can be seen almost to nanometers, quotes ï?ï°ï¯ï?ÿ?ï°.Ru material scientists in the journal Nature Communications. The acquired x-ray images are required to understand the ability clearly to master the processes occurring in a living cell.

Previously, researchers have used x-rays to make scientific discoveries. As we were informed Days.Roux, in early June 2013 scientists have used x-ray and high resolution computed tomography for the study of the bones of an old man. They noticed that Neanderthals also had cancer.

To this day the most ancient tumors were those which were found in the bodies of Egyptian mummies back in 2000 before our era. Traces of cancer has never been found in the remains of the ancient inhabitants of our planet. This suggests that the cancer has manifested itself even in people who lived very long in comparison with the modern.
