Kerry: the United States welcomes the extension of IMF assistance Ukraine
The United States welcomes the extension of IMF assistance Ukraine, said state Secretary of the United States John Kerry.

"We welcome the news about the fact that the Ukrainian government and the IMF reached an agreement that will enable the IMF to grant Ukraine 17, 5 billion dollars in financial aid to support economic reforms. This agreement will enable Ukraine to continue implementation of the reforms, " said Kerry.

IMF chief Christine Lagarde on Thursday announced the successful completion of negotiations between the IMF and Ukraine concerning the extension of the program to support the country. Its volume from the IMF and from other sources for four years could reach $ 40 billion. The IMF will provide about 17, 5 billion dollars. The program includes Bilateral and multilateral contributions from multiple sources.

Bilateral and multilateral contributions, which are able to be granted for a period of one or two, and include two billion dollars from North America, 2, 2 billion from the EU, four billion from other international organizations such as EBRD and the world Bank. The sum of one billion dollars has the opportunity to be sent from Germany, Japan, Canada, Poland and Norway.
