The OSCE did not want to explain the proposal to deploy police the EU mission in Ukraine
According to the commissioners, the OSCE, the proposal of the NSDC of Ukraine to deploy police mission in the country is beyond the mandate of the Special monitoring mission (SMM) organization, for this reason, the OSCE can't explain.
"The OSCE can't explain proposals that are beyond the powers of the Minsk agreements and mandate of the SMM. The OSCE stands ready to cooperate with any partner organizations, if it will agree appropriate authorities "- quoted by RIA "Novosti" message of the employee of the press service of the OSCE Mersiha Causevic-Pozic in response to a request to comment on the position of the OSCE proposal of the NSDC of Ukraine." The OSCE within the framework of its mandate, is engaged in the execution of its role in the monitoring and verification of the relevant provisions of the Minsk package, which was agreed on 12 February. The OSCE hopes on the support of all sides of the Minsk agreements to ensure full implementation of the agreed measures, " reported as follows in response to the press service of the OSCE. Yesterday the head of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has made the initiative of the Council to discuss the introduction of peacekeepers to the country. The NSDC of Ukraine has decided to appeal to the UN and the EU in relation to deployment in Ukraine police mission.
