Slovakia on March 1, will increase the reverse gas supplies to Ukraine
Alexander Kuranov. Slovakia will increase on March 1, the supply of gas to Ukraine in reverse mode up to 40 million cubic meters per day, I.e. Up to 14, 6 billion cubic meters per year. This became possible due to technical improvements in recent months on the Ukrainian side.

Commercial supplies of gas to Ukraine from Slovakia in the reverse mode on the reconstructed pipeline Vojny-Uzhgorod, according to the reached before consensus between representatives of the European Union, Slovakia and Ukraine were launched on 2 September last year. The initial supply was $ 20-24 million cubic meters of gas per day, while the continuation of work on technical testing and debugging of all system components to the desired settings. Two months later, the delivery volumes were gradually increased to 27 million cubic meters of gas per day, and in January 2015, the capacity of the pipeline has reached the daily level 31, 5 million cubic meters or eleven, 5 billion cubic meters per year.

Two weeks ago the gas transportation system operator Slovakia - Company Eustream has announced the completion of the next Open Season procedure, in which suppliers of gas was invited to participate in the increase fuel supplies to Ukraine in reverse mode 8, 5 million cubic meters per day to bring the total volume of deliveries of up to 40 million cubic meters per day, I.e. Up to 14, 6 billion cubic meters per year.

The total number of applications for participation in the increase of gas supplies to Ukraine in the framework of the Open Season procedure, according to the organization Eustream, again exceeded supply, in this Firm, traditionally referring to a trade secret, refused to tell the names of the suppliers and their Total number.
