On a moon of Saturn discovered life A unique discovery was made by American scientists. At random they got to know that on a moon of Saturn may be life. Already confirmed that on Titan live based on methane do not use the air life forms.

In the journal Science Advances, chemists and engineers from Cornell Institute published a study which shows that in the methane seas of the moon of Saturn - Titan - can dwell without the need of oxygen in cells, capable of movement, reproduction and metabolism of drugs. Probably the same processes occur with many microbes on Earth.

"We are not considered neither biologists nor astrologers, but we had all the tools to find "life" on a moon of Saturn. It was on the surface. It is likely we have helped our "priest", because we didn't have almost any prejudices and ideas about what should be in the cell membrane and what is not there. We simply have experimented with drugs that are on the Titan, and asked the age-old question, "artist's life" - if we have this range of compounds that we have the opportunity to draw with their help?" even so 1 of the study's authors Paulette Clancy of the Cornell Institute in Ithaca.

During the experiment the scientists have created the cell membrane, consisting of molecules of carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen - all these components are found in the seas of Titan. Surprisingly, this membrane capable of operating at extremely low temperatures in the environment of liquid methane. The cell was called "azotosome" that can be translated as "nitrogen" and "body".

Evolutionists believe that the membrane was the first components of life that appeared on Earth very long. Her appearance at the same time separated the next cell from the environment and created the conditions for the exchange of drugs with her that in the end and launched biological evolution. Therefore, by creating a membrane astonomy, a scientist turned out to detect possible "recipe" for the origin and existence of life, even in such terrible conditions on Titan, and it be possible to expand the scope of its search beyond the Solar system.

The next step should be an experiment in which the researchers intend to watch as artificial cells will behave in a methane environment. But first, they wanted to test their ideas in titanium, taking samples of organic compounds specifically with abandoned on the moon of Saturn probe.

It is known that around Saturn turns 62 currently known satellite. Titan, the biggest of them. Its surface is generally composed of water ice and sedimentary organic products. By 2040, NASA hopes to send to the Titanium submarine, designed for studying hydrocarbon seas.
