The foreign Ministry tried to convince all countries to connect to the NPT
The Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation advocates that all countries, which until now remain outside of the Treaty on the nonproliferation of nuclear weapons (NPT), to connect to it.
"Today marks 45 years since the entry into force of the NPT, which is considered the cornerstone of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons. First, in the spring of 2014, the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation stated the need to increase the responsibility for the decision to withdraw from the NPT in connection with the proposal of a number of parties of Ukraine to withdraw from the Contract.
