OSCE Secretary General: the organization can return to the question of Crimea
The OSCE can revisit the question of the status of Crimea, once the situation in the East of Ukraine is stabilized, said the organisation's Secretary General Lamberto Zannier.

Crimea and Sevastopol became the Russian regions after held there in March 2014 referendum in which an overwhelming number of residents were in favour of joining the Federation. Kiev, despite the results of the referendum, still considers the Crimea territory.

"Our priority is to end the conflict in Ukraine. As soon as the situation (Donbass) is stabilized, we will return to other issues, such As the Crimea, " said Zannier said in an interview to the publication of Carnegie Europe.

He also noted that with the annexation of Crimea Russia has violated the rules of the Final act of the Helsinki conference on security and cooperation in the European Union from 1975.

The final act of the Helsinki conference on security and cooperation in the European Union (1975) formulated the foundations of a pan-European security architecture, in which the rejection of the dangers of force, peaceful settlement of disputes, inviolability of borders and the right of Nations to self-determination. These principles were confirmed in the Charter of Paris for a New Europe (1990) and the Charter for European security (1999).

The Ukrainian authorities began in April last year in the Donbass military operation against dissatisfied with the coup d'etat in the region. According to the summary data of the United Nations, victims of the conflict began more than 6 thousand civilians.
