The situation in the East of Ukraine has stabilized somewhat, the EU will not cease to make efforts to fulfill elements of the Minsk agreement, said the Minister of foreign Affairs of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier.

"We are grateful that the Situation in Ukraine has stabilized somewhat, violence has decreased significantly, the number of violations of the ceasefire as well. But I share the opinion of many, who informs that We are still on the way to the settlement, " said Steinmeier in Riga, where the meeting of foreign Ministers of the EU countries.

"What We have to achieve at the present time, it is the development of a positive dynamics. We talk about what We will continue to make efforts to the performance of individual elements of the agreement, " the Minister added.
