Moscow notes that the EU keeps its "eager" partners from the introduction of new penalties regarding Russia, said Deputy foreign Minister Alexei Meshkov.

"A large group of countries in the European Union draws the attention of his, to put it mildly, eager partners that the process for the execution of the Minsk agreements continues, and if so what is it and commits it to Kiev, and not LNR and DND, and moreover is not Russia," he said when asked to comment on the possibility of introducing new penalties regarding Russia.


Western countries from March 2014 has repeatedly imposed punishment because of the position of Russia in Ukraine. The last case of using such practices were the limits imposed in February 2015, when was expanded sanctions list of the EU.
